Six Sigma Green Belt

In this role you would normally be a part of a Six Sigma Management Team working together to improve a company. This is a combination of introductory (Yellow Belt) and Intermediate (Green Belt) levels for Six Sigma, as there is no prior knowledge required.

You will Learn the terminology used and understand Six Sigma up to a Management level. You will be able to demonstrate how Six Sigma can help various companies as well as understanding and identifying common implementation issues. You will be able to understand the customer importance in all business sectors as well as learning how to analyse data correctly to make good decisions.

Six Sigma Black Belt

Part of your role as a Six Sigma Black Belt would normally include becoming a Project Leader/Consultant or a Sigma Six Trainer. Our course will cover the Basics (Yellow Belt), Intermediate (Green Belt) and Advanced (Black Belt) levels for Six Sigma, as mentioned before, no prior knowledge is required.

You will learn; How to improve a business, demonstrate the help various businesses can get from Six Sigma, understand and identify the more common implementation issues, understand customer significance and importance in all business sectors, how to analyse data correctly to make the right decisions, how to train others in Six Sigma, impact on permanent problem resolutions, a full understanding of Six Sigma principles, tools and techniques and show how a business can be structured using DMAIC.

About Examination

This course/ exam bundle contains 2 exams, the Six Sigma Green Belt Examination & Black Belt Examination

Green Belt

The Six Sigma Green Belt exam consists of 100 questions set over the course of three hours by a dedicated invigilator. Students will have their knowledge of the Six Sigma process improvement methodologies tested to ensure that they fully understand all aspects of the process improvement lifecycle and how Six Sigma techniques are applied to build a continuous improvement program.

Candidates are tested on each major section of the ILSSBOK for Green Belts document, with 20 multiple choice questions on each. In this way process managers undertaking the exam will need to have a complete understanding of the Six Sigma methodology at Green Belt level.

After successfully scoring at least 580 points out of the available 750, candidates will get instant confirmation of their professional designation of IASSC Certified Green Belt (ICGB).

The pass mark for this exam is 77%.

Black Belt

The Six Sigma Black Belt exam contains 150 questions set over four hours by a proctor. Students will have their knowledge of the Six Sigma business process methodologies tested to ensure that they fully understand all aspects of the improvement lifecycle and how Six Sigma techniques are applied to build a continuous improvement program, or used on a project-by-project basis.

Candidates are tested on each major section of the IASSC Universally Accepted Lean Six Sigma Body of Knowledge for Black Belts document, with 30 multiple choice questions on each. In this way process managers undertaking the exam will need to have a complete understanding of applying and managing the Six Sigma methodology at Black Belt level.

The pass mark for this exam is 77%.
